Devmogramata Adivasi Sevabhavi Sanstha Non-Government Organization (NGO) is inaugurated in the year 2006. The organization is registered under Society Registration Act 1860 and Mumbai Public Trust Act 1950 of Maharashtra State. The head quarter of the organization situated at Plot No.12, Shivneri Bunglow, Karmyogi Nagar, Near Raje Sambhaji Vyayamshala, CIDCO, Nashik-422 008. About 16,000 citizens belonging to Dalits, tribals and other backward classes were distributed Caste Certificates free of charge through the organization. Apart from this, since the tribal people of Igatpuri and Trimbakeshwar talukas are deprived of irrigation water and for the last 15 years, we have undertaken one program full-time and that is to provide irrigation facilities to the farmers of tribal areas at government expense.
The scope of the organization is limited and henceforth, the organization is trying to provide irrigation facilities to the tribals of entire Maharashtra, where dams have been constructed and tribal lands have been acquired for dams and the rest of the lands. The organization has always benefitted from the support and guidance of the officials and employees of Tribal Department, Water Conservation Department, Water Conservation Corporation-Aurangabad, Water Resources Department, Maharashtra Electricity Distribution Company, Cooperative Department etc. In the future also the organization is keen to work in all other fields like education, environment protection, health, livelihood development, etc.

Devmogramata Adivasi Sevabhavi Sanstha has a multidisciplinary team of professionals who on one hand have strong grass root level experience of working on community based development projects; and on the other have insights into designing and facilitating various training modules, farm based and non-farm income generation activities through partnership building. The group members are from various disciplines like Tribal and Livelihood Development, Agriculture, Women Empowerment, Natural Resource Management (NRM), Education, Social activities, etc. The organization endeavors to provide free advice for MGNREGA scheme. Till date the organization has received permission from the government for irrigation of nearly 20000 acres. Works are underway in an area of 10000 acres.
Dams built by the Water Resources Department in Maharashtra are mainly built in tribal areas and on tribal lands, and 16.25 percent of the water is reserved for farmers in the catchment area of the dam, but till 1994, irrigation was not provided to the tribal farmers from the dams constructed by the Department of Water Resources. Therefore, the government did not provide irrigation facility to the tribal farmers of the voluntary organization for 1994. Therefore, the government issued a GR for 1994 that voluntary organizations should be involved in providing irrigation facilities to tribal farmers, but the irrigated area did not increase much. Therefore, there is a large amount of malnutrition in the tribal areas. Also, there is a lot of rain, but due to lack of irrigation facilities, tribals are suļ¬ering from malnutrition. Apart from this, they are migrating for employment, so irrigation facilities will be provided on a large scale through our organization. So far the organization has been allowed to plan up to 20000 acres. Plans for 10400 are currently underway.
